The Coy Commander

The commander is being coy according to the New York Times in a recent article about reneging on the Iran nuclear agreement (JCPOA).

coy

/koi/

adjective: reluctant to give details, especially about something regarded as sensitive. “he is coy about his size”

Why be coy? Could it be that there is no plan for after the bluster? Or is it just a passive aggressive cry for attention?

Is there a middle east strategy? We deserve to know what is going on and where we are headed.

  • Pulling out of JCPOA is going to do what other than encourage the Israelis to attack and Iran to immediately restart their weapons program?
  • What are we doing with the Saudis, Syria, Iraq, Palestine?

If something is wrong, why not identify the problem and share ideas for a solution? Here’s an idea: why not place a call to the “enemy” and speak bravely and privately about the grievances rather than ranting in public with name calling and hollow talk?

Coy is getting old!
