The commander is being coy according to the New York Times in a recent article about reneging on the Iran nuclear agreement (JCPOA).
coy /koi/ adjective: reluctant to give details, especially about something regarded as sensitive. “he is coy about his size” |
Why be coy? Could it be that there is no plan for after the bluster? Or is it just a passive aggressive cry for attention?
Is there a middle east strategy? We deserve to know what is going on and where we are headed.
- Pulling out of JCPOA is going to do what other than encourage the Israelis to attack and Iran to immediately restart their weapons program?
- What are we doing with the Saudis, Syria, Iraq, Palestine?
If something is wrong, why not identify the problem and share ideas for a solution? Here’s an idea: why not place a call to the “enemy” and speak bravely and privately about the grievances rather than ranting in public with name calling and hollow talk?
Coy is getting old!
