We are living in an era when many politicians are entertainers rather than leaders. Getting the important things done has become secondary to being bellicose with personal attacks on opponents – flinging talking points without substance.

Peter Drucker: “Management is doing things right; Leadership is doing the right things.”

Our elected representatives need to recognize what is important and focus on fixing the problems. We have concerns that need their attention: immigration, climate change, war lords, gun control and poverty to name a few.

Debate is good and contributes to better solutions. But debate needs to be about finding an answer not about the personalities on the other side of an issue. Why do we need to call out the Democrats or Republicans or individuals by name?

Counter-productive rhetoric?

Ron DeSantis Spokesman: Radical Woke Agenda?	“the belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them.”
	Redlining, environmental racism, discriminatory policing, or any of the other injustices that might be described as “systemic”, don’t exist?
White House press secretary  Karine Jean-Pierre: Extreme Republicans	“Today, extreme House Republicans showed yet again that their chaos is marching us toward a reckless and damaging government shutdown. “
	Think it but don’t say it!
Donald Trump:   The Democrat communists?	“If the communists get away with this, it won’t stop with me. They will not hesitate to ramp up their persecution of Christians, pro-life activists, parents attending school board meetings, and even future Republican candidates.”
	“Are you, or have you ever been, a Communist?” It’s been almost 70 years since America first awoke to that famous question.
Marjorie Taylor Greene: Corrupt and Weaponized?	“CORRUPT AND WEAPONIZED COMMUNISTS DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED DOJ.”
	Performance art!
Joe Biden:   Radical MAGA Forces	“MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards, to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love.”
	A bit melodramatic!

Effective leaders rise above the histrionics of name calling. I recommend never critisizing a person or party by name. Tell us about solutions and back it up with logic and facts. Consider opposing ideas!
